Maritime emotion

Blanc Bleu is a French brand founded on 5 May 1979 in Saint-Tropez by Patrick Khayat.
His thirst for discovery takes him to Saint Ouen, his source, in Saint Tropez Peninsula, his home port.

In 1989, he bumps into the Virgin Islands, the sailboat with a slender keel, having belonged to Errol Flynn and rearmed by Blanc Bleu in testimony to the sea.
He dreamt and wrote pages…

A sailor that went from one ocean to another in search of freedom,
adventures, breezes, wearing his frothy white cable jumper hand knitted,
his blue kit bag of the seas as a luggage
and for directions his silvered lucky star.

Lighted by the lighthouse,
celebrated by the bell, he drops his anchor.
Back to earth, he joins his muse
and they open the luggage together.

Cashmere jumpers, skin-out fur coats
to warm up in the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Archipelago.
Waxed leather and canvas to hang out
along La Seine in Saint Germain des Prés.
Stripped cottons, prewashed linen,
to escape to the Saint Barthélemy Island.

Fortified by their very membership of that community,

they are Sailors at heart…
